Love horror films? Vampires? Werewolves? You aren’t alone. Scary movies and the horror genre are going strong on the both the big and small screens with plenty of choices out there, but the quality is hit and miss. We embrace all types of horror as long as it’s good: Hammer-style gothic horror, Italian Giallo, commercial films that rely on “boo” moments, and the independent “slow-burn” films that get under our skin and make it crawl. What else we love: Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy, Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorhees, The Walking Dead, zombies, Hammer Films, Edgar Allan Poe, Vincent Price, Sir Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and The Blair Witch Project, although we never want to see another found footage film as long as we live.
