'Walking Dead' spoilers – photos and video

The rumor mills are buzzing about this week’s episode of “The Walking Dead” and what may happen. Now, if you can believe an alleged leak, I have a full spoiler synopsis of the episode coming up Sunday (Episode 12) here in my hot hands, courtesy of a fan forum site. Suffice it to say, it looks like Andrea and her ol’ pals at the prison are going to have a reunion.

The Governor will not like that. And her old pals may not be so excited to be reunited with the woman bumping uglies with the guy who just gunned down poor Axel and tore up their gate with a zombie bomb in the courtyard.

Seriously not cool, big guy.

Here are some photos and a preview video, and if you want to read my full spoilers article, check it out over at Examiner.com.

'Face Off': Zombies in Wonderland

The makeup artists on Syfy’s “Face Off” have already done a Tim Burton-themed challenge, but this week they took Alice and her cast of Wonderland characters and zombified them for their spotlight challenge. Georgia freelance artist Roy Wooley impressed the judges with his mutated Queen of Hearts to win the challenge, but three found themselves at the bottom and at risk for elimination.

Tommy Pietch survived the first week after being paired with the worst contestant ever (who subsequently walked off before the judges announced who was going home) only to find himself on the chopping block again with his poorly executed White Rabbit. The judges liked his concepts, but hated pretty much everything but the head, especially judge Ve Neill who asked him what on earth he was thinking with the costuming — somehow the tweed jacket of the original ended up a flannel shirt.

It was sort of “Donnie Darko” meets Kurt Cobain.

Anyway, the poor guy squeaked by this week, as well as Rod Maxwell who missed the mark with a Queen of Hearts that was more vampire-like than zombie-like. His concept involved a Queen who drank blood for her youth, and the judges weren’t particularly thrilled about the execution, either.

But in the end, it was MAC artist Nicole Chilelli who was sent packing for her Alice, due to numerous technical errors the judges felt she could have easily fixed, as well as a paint job that missed the mark. They also felt her bubbling brains didn’t quite rise to the occasion.

Ironically, Chilelli came in a close second in a challenge to create a boxer makeup, losing out to Jason Milani who earned immunity for his win.

Next week the guest judge will be writer/director Kevin Smith. “Face Off” airs on Syfy with new episodes every Tuesday night — check your local listings.
