‘Grimm’ spoilers: You give love a bad name

Grimm - Season 1
On Friday night’s “Grimm” episode, Hank’s love life goes from grim to grimmer with a bad love spell by a very wicked woman. Or a Hexenbiest pretending to be a woman, to be more precise.

After eating some cookies spiked by a very nasty love spell, Hank (Russell Hornsby) becomes so obsessed a year of therapy and a truckload of Paxil wouldn’t cure his obsession with his femme fatale (Clair Coffe.) He takes his witchy woman on a double dinner date with his partner Nick (David Giuntoli) but Nick is quite immune to her charms, and wise to them — this is the same bad apple that tried to kill his Aunt Marie so he knows exactly who she is.

And what she is, with his special Grimm, monster-seeing abilities.

Meanwhile, poor Sgt. Wu accidentally ate one of the hexed cookies last week and seemed to be cured, but now shows some very odd dining choices of his own as an extended side effect this week. Judging from the video, he seems to have mixed up Trader Joes and Ikea, but at least we need not worry about his fiber intake.

For once, it looks like Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) won’t be the strangest character on this episode.

Grimm” airs Friday nights on NBC at 9 p.m. ET.
